The United States, China, and the New Global Geometry

This past Wednesday November 10th, Former Ambassador Chas W. Freeman, Jr. delivered some prepared remarks at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center entitled, “The United States, China, and the New Global Geometry.” His speech touched on a number of international security, economic, political, and regional topics as he interpreted the United States’ diminishing global clout.

The Middle East Policy Council, where Former Ambassador Freeman is President Emeritus, has published the speech in full here. It is a highly recommended read for those who missed it, his eloquence and vast professional expertise are humbling.

Feel free to use this space to further discuss issues brought up by Ambassador Freeman’s speech!
